We use AI Credits as a virtual balance to pay for AI model usage. 1 AI Credit = $1 USD by default, so all prices below are shown in dollars for clarity. Each request to our AI models costs a small number of tokens, which are deducted from your AI Credit saldo.
A token is a piece of text that the AI model processes. It can be as short as one character or as long as one word. For example, the word "hello" is one token, while "a" is also one token. The number of tokens in a request depends on the length of the input and output text. On average, 1,000 tokens correspond to about 750 words or 4,000 characters.
