Third-Party Services & Open-Source Licenses

Last Updated: 2025-06-01

To provide the DesktopTools.ai and KamuAI services, Iomine Oy relies on certain third-party service providers (sub-processors) and incorporates open-source software components. This page provides transparency into these dependencies.

1. Sub-processors & Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to provide our core functionality, process data on our behalf, and operate our business. These companies are our "sub-processors" under GDPR.

Service Provider Purpose Country
UpCloud Oy Cloud Hosting & Backend Infrastructure Finland (EU)
Nebius B.V. Providing AI/LLM functionality through the DesktopTools.ai Account service. Netherlands (EU)
Polar Software Inc. Payment Processing USA
Zendesk, Inc. Customer Support & Ticketing USA
Mailgun by Sinch Transactional Emails (e.g., password resets) USA

Note: When you use your own API key to connect directly to an external service, that provider is not a sub-processor of Iomine for that transaction. Your relationship is directly with that provider.

2. AI Model Use Policies

As stated in our Terms of Service, your use of specific AI models and the Output they generate is subject to the licenses and acceptable use policies set by their respective creators. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with these terms. This is especially important if you plan to use the Output for commercial purposes.

Model Family / Name Provider / Creator Governing Policy / License
Llama 3.3 Meta License
Use Policy
DeepSeek R1 DeepSeek License
Qwen 3 Qwen License
Gemma 3 Google License & Use Policy

3. Open-Source Software

The KamuAI application and DesktopTools.ai services incorporate open-source software components. We are grateful to the developers and communities who create and maintain this software. Pursuant to their licenses, we are providing the following attributions. The full license text for each component can be found at the links provided.

This is a non-exhaustive list of key components. A complete list of dependencies and their licenses is typically included in the Software's installation directory.
